We had some strange conversations lately

Just what the world has been waiting for:

a record label
burdened with a name that only weirdos could dream up: Swingin’ Gate Records
running its operations strictly by the book (of 7 principles. Before you ask: No, we’re not a sect)
producing only vinyl LPs.

(And before we forget: our LPs are gone in no time—most likely in less time than it takes you to read the title of this paragraph in reverse order 28 times. However, before they sell out, they’re up for grabs in our shop.

Who, please, is Swingin’ Gates Records?

Swingin’ Gates is me, Robert Merker. And who am I? Good question.

Actually it’s the one question my shrink still can’t answer — despite our intense cooperation for 23 years, 3 times a week. (A year in my calendar has 52 weeks. Two LPs in gatefold cover with 12 page booklet, limited edition (950 LPs, hand numbered xx/950), 100% analog recording and production, live to two track, mastered from the original session tapes, 1-step-pressing, limited to 500 LPs per stamper, pressed on 140 grams of extra quiet vinyl, QC: visual inspection of each LP, playgrade of each 75th LP.
