Just what the world has been waiting for:
a record label
burdened with a name that only weirdos could dream up: Swingin’ Gate Records
running its operations strictly by the book (of 7 principles. Before you ask: No, we’re not a sect)
producing only vinyl LPs.
(And before we forget: our LPs are gone in no time—most likely in less time than it takes you to read the title of this paragraph in reverse order 28 times. However, before they sell out, they’re up for grabs in our shop.
Who, please, is Swingin’ Gate Records?
(And why do you behave so … uhm … principally?).
Swingin’ Gates is me, Robert Merker. And who am I? Good question.

Limited, hand numbered edition of 500 double LPs.
Production: 100 per cent purely analog from microphone to the cutting stylus. Mixed in real time and recorded live to 2-track. Mastering and lacquer cutting using the original session tapes. Single step electroplating (“one step plating”); stampers are pulled directly from the lacquer. One stamper per lacquer, and no more than 500 LPs pressed with each stamper.
Pressed in Germany using specially quiet running vinyl (140 g per LP). Double visual QC of each LP in the pressing plant; playgrading of each 100th LP..
